Papa XIV. Leo, 8 Mayıs 2025'ten beri Katolik Kilisesi'nin ruhani lideri ve Vatikan Şehir Devleti'nin hükümdarıdır. Daha önce 2015-2023 yılları arasında Peru'daki Chiclayo Piskoposu olarak görev yaptı ve 2001-2013 yılları arasında Augustinyen Tarikatı'nın başrahibiydi. 8 Mayıs 2025'te konklav tarafından Papa seçildi ve papalık adı olarak Leo'yu seçti. Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'nde doğan ilk Papa ve Kuzey Amerika kıtasından seçilen ilk Papa'dır.
